El Al warned officials at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport after a cargo plane crashed in 1992 that the plane was carrying explosives and other dangerous materials, according to evidence presented at a Dutch inquiry into the crash. The inquiry aims to determine whether airline officials participated in a cover-up after the crash, which killed at least 43 people. Israel confirmed last year that the plane was carrying materials that could be used to create sarin nerve gas.
