The Jewish National Fund opened its first office in Russia. Officials with the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Israeli Embassy attended Thursday’s opening in Moscow of the JNF office, which came two days before Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish New Year for trees.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
