Most Israelis believe Prime Minster Ehud Barak knew some fund-raising activity for his campaign in last May’s election was improper, according to a recent poll conducted for the newspaper Yediot Achronot. Fifty-six percent said Barak knew the nonprofit organizations working for his election acted improperly, 36 percent said he did not know and 8 percent had no opinion.
