Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is calling on the public to be on heightened alert for the possibility of terrorist attacks in the coming months. Barak’s remarks at the weekly Cabinet meeting came as Israeli security forces stepped up security measures in large cities and in central Israel following the smashing of a Hamas cell in an Israeli Arab town last week.
