Two Muslim fundamentalist leaders abducted by Israeli commandos from Lebanon appealed to Israel’s Supreme Court for their release. After a four-hour hearing Wednesday, the judges said they would rule at a later date on the appeals by Sheik Abdel Karim Obeid, a Hezbollah leader, and Mustafa Dirani, a leader of the Amal movement. The two have been held without trial since Israel seized them in 1988 and 1994, respectively.
