The World Jewish Congress appealed to Spain’s king to seek the release of a Jewish media magnate arrested in southern Spain last week. WJC President Edgar Bronfman urged King Juan Carlos in a letter to “raise your moral voice” in support of Vladimir Goussinsky, the leader of the Russian Jewish Congress. Goussinsky faces extradition to Russia, where he is wanted on fraud charges.
