Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz was the only Cabinet member to carry a gas mask to the weekly government meeting Sunday. Other ministers said they had left their masks in the car, Israel Radio reported. Despite an army directive issued to citizens on the eve of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, few Israelis have been heeding the order to keep their gas mask kits with them at all times.
