Israel refused entry to a New York woman who says she was planning to participate in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. Israel determined that Ann Petter, 44, was a security threat when she tried to enter the country at Ben Gurion International Airport on June 23, The New York Times reported, because of her involvement with the International Solidarity Movement, a pro-Palestinian protest group.
