Some 120 leaders of Islamic congregations from across Canada issued a public condemnation on July 21 of Muslim terrorism. Meeting in Toronto, the group of imams, who represent only a fraction of Islamic leaders across Canada, also endorsed a religious edict issued last week by a British Muslim group condemning suicide bombings.
