A Croatian factory is under investigation for producing sugar packets with images of Adolf Hitler and Holocaust jokes. Authorities in the eastern Croatian town of Pozega said this week that a local factory was being probed for manufacturing the Nazi-memorabilia condiments. Croatia has been at pains to distance itself from its collaboration with Nazi Germany during World War II. The Simon Wiesenthal Center voiced “disgust” with the sugar packets and urged Croatian authorities to order a recall.
