Christians celebrate at Embassy

More than 200 Christian supporters of Israel attended a solidarity event Friday at Israel’s Embassy in Washington. The sixth annual Christian Israel Solidarity Event featured remarks by Jane Hansen, president of Aglow International, and Ben Kinchlow, a Christian broadcaster. “Today we pray for Jerusalem as a symbol of peace,” said Sallai Meridor, the Israeli ambassador. “We reaffirm that Jerusalem will always be open to all religions and vow that Jerusalem will forever be the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”
