Al-Qaida’s American-born spokesman denounced U.S. support for Israel. Adam Gadahn, a Muslim convert originally from a mixed Christian-Jewish family in California, released an Internet statement in which he demanded that the Bush administration call off its war on terror. He further urged Washington to end all support “moral, military, economic or otherwise to the bastard State of Israel and ban your citizens from travelling to occupied Palestine or settling there.” Gadahn, who was previously known as Adam Pearlman, has been indicted in absentia for treason. He is believed to be hiding in Pakistan.
