David Elcott is leaving the Israel Policy Forum.
Elcott, the dovish pro-Israel group’s second executive directorsince its founding in 1993, will leave Oct. 31.
Seymour Reich, the IPF president and Marvin Lender, its chairman, announced the resignation on Monday with “regret” saying that Elcott wants to pursue writing and consulting.
The IPF has in recent months been tentatively discussing a merger with like-minded groups including Americans for Peace Now and Brit Tzedek v’Shalom.
