A Nazi medal sold for $18,000 at a charity auction in Brisbane, Australia.
Proceeds from Sunday’s sale of the Knight’s Cross with oak leaves and swords, awarded to German officers during World War II, will benefit the Australian veterans’ charity Legacy. Only 150 were ever awarded.
