A video released by an Israeli human rights group shows what it says are Jews attacking a Palestinian family.

The video, released Friday by B’tselem, shows a June 8 attack near the southern West Bank community of Susya. Four men with their faces and necks covered with cloths are shown in the video attacking a Palestinian farmer and his elderly aunt and uncle.

The farmer told several news services that the attackers told him and his relatives to get off the land. When the farmer refused, the attackers beat all three of them.

Police are investigating the incident, and are also checking to see if the incident was staged. A B’tselem spokeswoman told Haaretz she is certain the attackers were settlers. But The Associated Press points out that no yarmulkes or prayer shawl fringes can be seen on the attackers which would identify them as religious settlers.
