  • The Religious Action Center is speaking out against the North Dakota House’s passage of a bill that grants fertilized eggs the same rights as human beings: "As its sponsors plainly acknowledge, this disturbing proposal is designed to present a legal challenge to Roe v. Wade, the 35-year-old landmark Supreme Court decision that guarantees women the right to obtain a legal abortion."
  • Jack Lew already has a job as a deputy secretary of state in the Obama administration. But the Washington Post says the observant Jew is being considered for a different one — HHS secretary.
  • National Jewish Democratic Council executive director Ira Forman wonders about CBS News’ hire of Jeff Ballabon as their new senior vice president of communications: "What is CBS thinking? This guy is very far out there with his partisan rhetoric."
