An Argentine Jewish group has expanded its leadership training to non-Jews.
The Center for Social Studies of the DAIA Jewish political umbrella has sponsored for the last seven years a course to train Jewish leaders on how they interact within society. Some 300 people throughout Argentina have already received training on management and political issues.
The DAIA Center for Social Studies researches the discrimination felt by all minorities. This research is published in an annual report.
“With the focus we already have on minorities, the DAIA Center decided to open their management training to help those minorities in their political conduction,” said Dario Brenman, of the Center for Social Studies, told JTA.
Currently, the Jewish organization is providing training to a diverse group of leaders from the Capverdien, Bolivian and Mapuches communities, the Housekeeping League, the Children with HIV Foundation and the Jewish Gays Association.
