Sixteen Senators and 53 Congressmen have accepted an invitation from the Israel Anniversary Committee to serve as members of the sponsoring division for an all-star birthday party to be held May 13, at Madison Square Garden, to celebrate the second anniversary of the State of Israel.
Vice-President Alben W. Barkley will be the principal speaker. The fete will be highlighted by a four-hour-long program of entertainment by stars of stage, screen and radio.
