Richard Maibaum’s play, “Birthright,” which is “another hit-back at the anti-Jewish Nazi regime,” according to the Daily Sketch will be presented at the Cambridge Theater under the auspices of the Jewish Education Guild on December 16.

The Daily Sketch also lists a second anti-Nazi production, Leslie Reade’s “Take Heed,” which was scheduled for presentation at the Arts Theater after it had been banned, presumably for political reasons.”

“The play, vivid and strongly emotional, sets out the effect of the Nazi persecution of the Jews in Germany,” the Daily Sketch reports. “How far it is in accordance with the facts can be judged only by those who know.”
