Bequests of $5,000 each to Elizabeth General Hospital and Congregation B’nai Israel are made in the will of the late Louis F. Hersh, civic leader and prominent wholesale grocer. The will also stipulates $1,000 to St. Elizabeth Hospital and $500 to Alexian Brothers Hospital, both of which are under Catholic auspices. Elizabeth Orphan Asylum also receives $500. Employees of the grocery concern also receive bequests.
