The sum of $6,700,000 has already been subscribed towards the $10,000,000 fund initiated by Julius Rosenwald, to be applied toward the extension of Jewish colonization work in Soviet Russia, under the new agreement.
In addition to the subscriptions of Mr. Rosenwald, Mr. Warburg and Mr. Marshall, subscriptions have been made by Paul Baerwald, Treasurer of the Joint Distribution Committee, $200,000; Herbert Lehman, $100,000 and $100,000 has been subscribed anonymously.
