8,000 Arab Refugees Received Aid from Israel Government

The Israel Government supplied aid to some 8,000 Arab refugees within its territory during November and December of last year, the Ministry of Welfare announced today. The Ministry took over responsibility for Arab refugees in Israel when the United Nations Relief and Works Agency ceased operations in Israel last October.
