A Budapest university is hosting a series of five lectures on Jewish mysticism by renowned Israeli scholar Moshe Idel. The Sept. 3-9 lectures at the Central European University center on the question of the ascension of the soul. Idel, who teaches at Hebrew University, is widely regarded as the world’s leading expert on Jewish mysticism.
