A dagger of the type used by members of the Hitler Youth movement and inscribed with the name of French far-right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen was produced in a Paris court. On May 15, the court was hearing a libel action Le Pen brought against the French daily Le Monde, which published two articles last year accusing Le Pen of torture during France’s war in Algeria in 1957.
