A major U.S. trade federation and a business group sued Jordan, claiming it abuses foreign workers in industrial zones jointly run with Israel. The AFL-CIO, together with the U.S. National Textile Association, filed the complaint last week under the Free Trade Agreement with the United States that arose from the 1994 Jordan-Israel peace agreement.
