A new initiative that encourages Jewish teens to study and combat U.S. poverty made its first- ever student-initiated grant to support computer access for low-income youth on Long Island, N.Y. Students at the Solomon Schechter High School of Long Island are administering the $1,575 grant, under the auspices of the Fund for Tomorrow.
