A religious Israeli lawmaker is campaigning for repeat screenings of television shows that air on Shabbat. Shaul Yahalom of the National Religious Party said this week that he had asked Channel Two television to arrange alternative broadcasts for “Wonderful Country,” a highly rated satire that airs Friday nights.
