A senior Palestinian security official justified a Hamas attack on an Israeli army outpost. Jibril Rajoub, the head of Palestinian security in the West Bank, called Wednesday’s attack, in which four Israeli soldiers were killed, a “natural response” to what he called Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.
