A white supremacist convicted of plotting to assassinate a judge was sentenced to 40 years in jail Matthew Hale was found guilty of soliciting an FBI informant to kill Joan Lefkow. Hale had been charged with soliciting the murder of Lefkow because she had ordered him to stop using the name World Church of the Creator, which had been trademarked by an Oregon-based religious group with no ties to Hale.
