Abraham Goodman, of New York, has been named to serve as acting president of the Zionist Organization of America in the absence of Mortimer May, newly elected president of the ZOA. The appointment of Mr. Goodman, who is chairman of the ZOA Inner Committee, was announced by Mr. May on the eve of his departure for Israel to attend the sessions of the World Zionist Actions Committee in Jerusalem.
