The Zionist Actions Committee today unanimously adopted a proposal of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, that the Jewish National Fund should devote a special Golden Book to contain 5,000 names in memory of Lord Balfour. His plan is to ask all Jewish communities, organizations and institutions to inscribe their names in the book before the next session of the Actions Committee when the Zionist Executive with the directorate of the Jewish National Fund will submit a plan of a suitable memorial to Lord Balfour in Palestine to be financed by the subscriptions to the special Golden Book.
