Activists are urging Duke University to deny the Palestinian Solidarity Movement meeting space for an October conference. Duke officials have said they will not cancel the event, the Chronicle of Higher Education reported. Pro-Israel activists say the Palestinian group supports terrorism, and are circulating an online petition to get the university to cancel the event. As of early last week, the online petition had garnered more than 12,000 signatures, the Chronicle reported.
