Allenby Expresses Zionist Neutrality

Field Marshal Viscount Allenby, guest of honor at the reunion of the Canadian Corps in Toronto, expressed himself as being neutral on the Zionist question when questioned by a J. D. B. correspondent.

Viscount Allenby was in charge of the British forces that conquered Palestine in 1917. He further added on being questioned, that the “Arabic Jewish turmoil is still as acute as ever. But I believe, the country is still as prosperous as ever.”
