Almost 4,000 people signed an open letter to The New York Times calling on the Bush administration to pressure Israel to return to pre-1967 boundaries. The letter that appeared Tuesday said, “Our country has an extraordinary leverage on Israeli policy, if only our government would dare to use it.”
