American citizens in Israel can for the first time cast “last-minute” ballots in the U.S. elections by fax from the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv or the consulate in Jerusalem. An embassy spokesman said U.S. citizens wishing to vote by fax must already be registered in the United States.
