New developments, especially B’nai B’rith’s decision not to join in the proposed Assembly, have hampered the possibility of implementing the plan adopted by the fourth session in Chicago last December.
In addition to organization problems, the emergency session will consider the Palestine situation in the light of America’s passive attitude on enforcing partition and the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine.
