Plans for the formation of a $25,000,000 investment corporation to aid the state of Israel were discussed here last night by the national executive committee of the Zionist Organization of America, under the chairmanship of Dr. Emanuel Neumann, re-elected president.
The national executive committee also reviewed plans for developing a program of expanded Zionist education in the United States. The project calls for the intensification of Z.O.A. efforts in the fields of Hebrew art, literature, music and other cultural, as well as religious, media. Dr. Robert Gordis will direct this program. The names of the winners of five Z.O.A. $1,500 fellowships, providing for study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and other institutions, were also announced.
