An Alabama preacher and rabbi gave sermons in each other’s institutions to demonstrate opposition to the Presbyterian Church’s decision to divest from Israel. Ed Hurley of the South Highland Presbyterian Church USA delivered a talk during an Oct. 8 Shabbat service at Temple Emanu-El in Birmingham, and Rabbi Jonathan Miller returned the favor on Nov. 14, the Birmingham News reported.
