An American student was briefly held by Palestinians in the West Bank. Benjamin Bright-Fishbein, a Brown University student, was abducted by gunmen from the Al-Aksa Brigade during a visit to Nablus on Saturday. His captors released a video showing Bright-Fishbein dressed in a skullcap and saying he would be killed unless Israel released Palestinians from its prisons. The student was freed early Sunday, apparently after the Palestinians realized he was not Israeli.
