An estimated 100,000 people rallied in Tel Aviv to mark the eighth anniversary of the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. Saturday night’s rally in Rabin Square passed peacefully. But a day earlier, vandals daubed a monument to the late Israeli prime minister with swastikas and scrawled the words “Kahane was right” a reference to the late extremist leader Rabbi Meir Kahane.
