An estimated 20,000 people attended an Israel solidarity rally in Ottawa. A spokesman for the Canadian Jewish Congress, a co-sponsor of the rally, said it was the “largest demonstration the Jewish community has held in Ottawa since the struggle for Soviet Jewry.”
