An inter-ministerial committee is studying the possibility of creating an urban center the Golan Heights. A source close to the committee said, however, that a published report that work was about to begin on the construction of the city was premature. What is being considered, the source said, Is a center which would have both industry and administrative offices to service the kibbutzim and moshavim on the Heights. The idea is being examined on economic and “other” grounds, the source said.
