An Israeli soldier was slightly wounded and two others treated for scratches when Israeli troops south of Beirut were fired on in two separate incidents last Friday. The first incidents in which the soldiers were hurt, occurred when a jeep patrol was fired on near Bahamdoun some three miles southwest of Beirut. Two hours later small arms fire was directed at an IDF roadblock south of Damour, but nobody was hurt.
