Nathan Biderman, a Jewish student who was arrested on November 17th, following a clash with anti-Semitic students picketing the Jewish tailoring district in an effort to prevent non-Jews from entering Jewish stores, was released today on bail of 500 zlotys.
The trial of Biderman was set for December 20th. None of the leaders responsible for the boycott agitation against the Jews were arrested, the National Democratic students preventing the police from making the arrests.
The police have, however, confiscated the boycott literature against the Jews.
The boycott agitation continues, however. Yesterday Jewish shops in the Miodowa Street, the tailoring district, were again blockaded by students and anti-Jewish incidents recurred.
