A demonstration of the National Socialist Movement held at Trafalgar Square here today under the slogan, “Free Britain from Jewish Control” turned out to be a complete fiasco. The crowd of five thousand, made up almost completely of organized groups that normally oppose fascism in Britain, kept up a continuous barrage of ironical cheers, chanting and singing so that it was impossible to hear the anti-Jewish tirades of the speakers.

The Police were forced to suspend the meeting three times for fear of violence, and arrested 12 persons.
