Arabs in French Syria Declare for Independence

A demand for the overthrow of the French mandatory government in Syria and the establishment of a national Arab government there was made in a resolution adopted by a congress of Arabs of Syria and Palestine held here.

The resolution which is printed in the Arab organ “Philistine” calls on all Arabs to unite in battling for a completely independent Syrian government.
