An attack on Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall, commonly known as the Wailing Wall, was made by Arabs last Friday evening when pious Jews of Jerusalem assembled at the Wall to offer their evening prayers in accordance with tradition. Many rabbis, including the Rabbi of Jablonna, leader of Chassidic pioneers in Palestine, were among those who were attacked. The Arabs threw stones at the worshippers, compelling them to disperse in panic.
