Kurt Aron, Frankfurt department store manager, who was arrested last month for having “made an immoral proposal to an Aryan girl”, is still imprisoned, the Nazi press revealed today. Previously the Nazi papers had stated several times that Aron had been released and even reinstated in his post.
Actually Herr Aron has been in a Nazi concentration camp since Nov. 26. Today the Nazi press is filled with demands that he be immediately sterilized under the new law affecting criminals and imbeciles.
When the original charges were made against Herr Aron, a mob of enraged Nazis assembled before the department store in which he was employed and demanded that he be handed over to the mob for summary punishment. Police intervened and took him into “protective custody” from which, despite frequent reports to the contrary, he has never been released.
