Following Prime Minister Churchill’s announcement of a fortheoming statement on atrocities by President Truman, Premier Stalin and himself, the Hebrew Committee of National Liberation today appealed to President Truman and Foreign Secretaries Molotov, Eden and Stettinius, who Prime Minister Churchill announced were drafting the statement in Washington, to proclaim that German crimes against Jews, even committed in Axis territory, will be punished as war crimes.
