A demand that the minority schools in Roumania be regarded on an equal basis with the government schools on questions of budget and public rights, was presented to Minister of Education Costachescu, by a delegation of minority representatives whom he received.
The delegation, composed of German. Hungarian, Ukrainian and Jewish representatives, asked amendment of the school law which ruins the minority schools. The Minister promised to study the question closely.
